Last Call for Fall Rowing Programs!

We need everyone signed up by September 5th to secure your place on the roster!

This season we’ve added the ability to register directly from lorowing.com. Simply click on Programs in the top menu and navigate to the program you wish to select. We’ve grouped related items together to make it easier to purchase Regatta Trip Fees and Rowing Programs at the same time. You can still register directly at RegattaCentral if you wish!

Help Recruit with a Yard Sign

Yard signs are available at the RowStudio to help get the word out. Deploying a sign for just two weeks this time of year can help spread the word. They really do bring in members!

Join the Board!

The Board of Directors has an open seat and looking for qualified candidates. Need to be a member in good standing for the last six months. Apply Now!

Race Kit and Jackets

Our LOCR Team Store is now open!

For those that are racing, the required uniform is either the one-piece “uni” or the separate (top and bottom). Store will close Sept.15th.

The nice-to-haves are the jacket and the high vis hat or visor. For rowing, the light weight jacket is sufficient. To stay warm in the rain after practice or races, the lined jacket would be more appropriate.

Donation Store

It’s now easier than ever to give targeted support to your community rowing program throughout the year. Here you can donate by purchasing specific items needed for the club. lorowing.com/donate

For example, now that it’s dark during practice, we need more navigation lights. Our own Nathan S. 3D prints the housing, and the $20 goes towards purchasing the red and green lights (shown).

Volunteer Coordinator Needed!

We are looking for a persuasive, energetic person to help coordinate our volunteers this year. This position will primarily be to coordinate requests for volunteers, writing a newsletter column, tracking volunteer hours, and setting up our Signup Genius events. Expected time commitment is 1-2 hours a week.

If you are interested, please email us at info@lorowing.com

Parent Information Session

Mark your calendars for Sept 9th at 10am at our RowStudio (255 Foothills Dr.) for a Parent Information Session. All High School Competitive Team parents are required to attend; Novice, Rookie, and Middle School recommended. Come hear about the plans for the fall, meet your coaches, and meet other parents of youth at your school that might be interested in carpooling.
